Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Applied Intuition is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its UK defence team. You will work on cutting‑edge autonomous solutions for military customers, alternating between field deployments and product design.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimisation of new tools and products from concept to production.
• Integrate software with customer platforms during on‑site deployments.
• Build, test, and deploy software that is used in real defence operations.
• Identify and resolve inefficiencies in code and development processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior software engineer, preferably in defence or autonomous systems.
• Ability to work both in the field and in an office environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude toward process improvement.
