Senior Software Engineer – Lifing System

About the role

We are partnering with a leading motorsport team to deliver a critical lifing management system that drives key operational decisions. As a Senior Software Engineer you will own the development, optimisation and support of this specialist engineering application, working closely with users across engineering, manufacturing and supply‑chain functions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance applications using C#, VB.NET and WinForms.
• Maintain and optimise the underlying SQL Server database and T‑SQL code.
• Manage development activities and stakeholder expectations through Azure DevOps.
• Monitor application performance, conduct database optimisation and handle data management tasks.
• Investigate and resolve application issues promptly.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply‑chain and operations teams to deliver continuous improvements.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance and IT standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer delivering business‑critical applications.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of a complex system.
