Senior Software Engineer (.NET / AWS) – Manchester

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Manchester. You will design and build scalable, cloud‑native applications using .NET and AWS, working closely with product managers and stakeholders across the full development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain applications using .NET (C#).
• Build and deploy scalable systems within AWS cloud environments.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and technical direction.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver new features.
• Champion best practices, code quality and mentor junior team members.
• Improve system performance, reliability and scalability.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience with .NET/C#.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS (essential).
• Experience building scalable, distributed systems and microservices.
• Understanding of APIs and event‑driven architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps ways of working.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
