Senior Solution Architect – Hybrid (London & Midlands)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of a large‑scale enterprise transformation programme. This hybrid role combines on‑site collaboration in London and the Midlands with remote working, allowing you to shape complex integrations across payroll, HR, finance and workforce management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end solution architecture for a major enterprise programme.
• Design and document complex integrations between payroll, ERP, HR, finance and workforce management platforms.
• Produce functional and technical specifications, data models, business logic and API contracts.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal development teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Validate development outputs, provide technical governance and support sprint reviews.
• Lead architecture decisions for future enhancements and scalability.
• Identify technical risks and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect delivering enterprise software implementations.
• Strong background in payroll, recruitment technology, workforce management or staffing solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce architecture, including data modelling, Apex, SOQL, Flows, Platform Events and API integrations.
• Extensive experience designing integrations between ERP systems and third‑party applications.
• Good understanding of payroll processes, compliance and HMRC RTI integrations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
