Senior Solutions Architect

About the role

NG Bailey’s IT Services division is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead pre‑sales design of network‑focused solutions. The position is home‑based with regular travel to client sites and NG Bailey offices, working closely with sales, account managers and delivery teams to turn customer requirements into technically sound proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Stay current with market trends and technical specialisations relevant to the role.
• Design, price and produce customer‑facing presentations, proposals and high‑level design documents.
• Lead multiple opportunities across UCaaS, CCaaS, SD‑WAN, connectivity, routing and switching.
• Create accurate Bill of Materials and scope engineering and professional services effort.
• Support transition of designs into operational delivery and provide technical direction to project teams.
• Attend customer meetings to capture business and technical requirements.
• Contribute to the technical roadmap and evolution of service offerings.
• Ensure compliance with industry, health & safety and client‑specific standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in network infrastructure pre‑sales or solution architecture.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical designs and proposals.
• Strong communication skills for customer presentations and internal collaboration.
• Experience working with account managers and delivery teams.
• Willingness to travel regularly to client and office locations.
