Senior Sous Chef – Luxury Five‑Star Hotel

About the role

Join a prestigious five‑star hotel in Central London as a Senior Sous Chef. You will work alongside an experienced senior kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences across multiple high‑end outlets while further developing your culinary career.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Executive Chef and Head Chef in day‑to‑day kitchen management.
• Maintain consistently high‑quality food across restaurant, lounge, private dining and banqueting services.
• Lead, inspire and coordinate the kitchen brigade during busy service periods.
• Train, mentor and develop junior chefs.
• Ensure strict compliance with food hygiene, health & safety and kitchen organisation standards.
• Assist with stock management, ordering and food cost control.
• Uphold exceptional presentation, consistency and attention to detail.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or high‑end restaurant.
• Proven ability to manage a busy kitchen environment and deliver premium quality.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
