Senior Support Worker – Female (Leeds)

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Female Senior Support Worker to join our Extra Care Service in Richmond Hill, Leeds. You will work closely with the management team to oversee support for older adults in both community and residential settings, promoting independence and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care, administer medication and assist with domestic tasks.
• Encourage service users to engage in activities inside and outside their homes.
• Support the senior team in meeting service specifications, commissioner requirements and professional standards.
• Coordinate, manage and coach a dedicated staff team.
• Deliver respectful personal, practical and emotional support to service users.

Required profile

• Warm, flexible and motivated with a person‑centred approach.
• Ability to think quickly and respond to a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive, proactive attitude and strong organisational skills.
• Experience in social care and understanding of extra‑care support needs.
