Senior Support Worker – Supported Living

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our supported living service in Bordon, Hampshire. In this full‑time position you will help three individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs live as independently as possible, while providing leadership and administrative support to the team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver person‑centred care and support to promote choice, control and inclusion.
• Oversee daily support plans, ensuring they reflect each person’s goals and preferences.
• Mentor and guide support staff, coordinating shift patterns and covering leadership duties.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and best practice, completing necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with families, carers and external professionals to provide holistic support.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supported living or similar care settings.
• Ability to balance hands‑on support with leadership and administrative tasks.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to person‑centred values.
• Willingness to work flexible shift patterns as required.

Required skills

• Positive behaviour support techniques.
• Knowledge of learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.
• Record‑keeping and reporting in line with care standards.
