Senior Systems Analyst – Investment Front Office

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Systems Analyst to join Wellington Management’s front‑office technology team in London. You will work closely with portfolio managers, analysts and traders, helping to keep our proprietary investment systems running smoothly and delivering value to our institutional clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct support to portfolio managers, analysts and traders, troubleshooting and resolving system issues on a busy investment floor.
• Escalate and manage incidents following ITIL processes, ensuring timely root‑cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Maintain SOC1 compliance and produce accurate status reports and issue tracking for IT and business partners.
• Champion business stakeholder needs, building trusted relationships and acting as their fiduciary.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to design and implement scalable, high‑quality solutions.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of application‑support experience in the financial services industry.
• Proven experience supporting portfolio managers and analysts on a trade floor.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to interact with senior business users.
• Self‑starter with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
