Senior Systems Engineer – Subsea Production Control

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead Subsea Production Control activities across both tendering and project execution phases. You will drive technical solutions from the bid stage through system integration, testing and final delivery on complex offshore projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering contributions for subsea production control system tenders, reviewing client specifications and preparing technical proposals, risk registers and documentation.
• Support commercial teams by developing competitive, technically compliant solutions.
• Develop and maintain system architecture, requirements and functional design specifications.
• Manage system integration, verification & validation (V&V), testing and acceptance activities.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
• Perform technical risk assessments, change control and impact analysis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and interface directly with customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marine Engineering, Electrical/Electronics or a related discipline.
• Significant experience with Subsea Production Control Systems.
• Strong background in Systems Engineering, including requirements management and system architecture.
• Experience in tendering/proposal engineering and project execution.
• Knowledge of system integration, V&V, FAT/SIT and configuration management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer‑facing communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
• Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) is preferred.
