Senior Systems Integration & Test Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Systems Integration & Test Engineer to join a flagship programme supporting national security missions. Based in Whiteley with flexible home‑working, you will design, develop and maintain both manual and automated test assets.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse requirements and designs to create risk‑based test approaches.
• Develop test scripts, cases, procedures and associated data, tooling and environments.
• Execute and report on test regimes within hybrid Waterfall/Agile delivery cycles.
• Collaborate with test leads, engineers and stakeholders to plan and track testing activities.
• Participate in daily scrums and contribute to continuous improvement of test processes.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the testing lifecycle, functional and integration testing.
• Proven systems integration experience, including third‑party component integration.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
