Senior Talent Partner – Software Engineering (Fintech)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Talent Partner to lead software engineering hiring for a fast‑growing global fintech. This strategic position works directly with engineering leaders to shape assessment processes, influence hiring decisions, and elevate the overall talent acquisition function.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with VPs, Directors and Engineering Managers to define and evolve hiring standards across a large‑scale global engineering organization.
• Own and continuously improve the engineering interview architecture and assessment frameworks.
• Support hiring for Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Machine Learning and Data Science roles.
• Develop sourcing strategies for highly competitive engineering markets.
• Mentor and upskill other recruiters, building capability within the engineering recruitment team.
• Collaborate with technical bar raisers to maintain high hiring quality.
• Influence talent mapping, workforce planning and overall hiring strategy.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience recruiting software engineering talent.
• Background in fintech, payments, SaaS, platform or technology‑first companies.
• Proven ability to partner directly with senior engineering stakeholders.
• Comfort discussing interview methodologies, assessment frameworks and hiring quality.
• Passionate about technology and modern engineering organisations.
• Highly consultative, naturally curious and able to challenge assumptions.
• Thrives in fast‑moving, high‑growth environments with ambiguity.
