Senior Tax Manager – Equity Rewards

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Tax Manager to lead our specialist equity reward and venture capital advisory team. You will advise high‑growth businesses, investors and private‑equity‑backed companies on complex equity incentive arrangements and venture capital tax reliefs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of specialist advice on employee share schemes and venture capital tax reliefs.
• Design and implement tax‑efficient equity incentive arrangements, including EMI, CSOP and Growth Share schemes.
• Advise clients on SEIS, EIS and VCT legislation and eligibility.
• Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring exceptional service and commercial outcomes.
• Act as the technical specialist, providing guidance to clients and colleagues.
• Drive business development initiatives and produce thought‑leadership content.
• Collaborate across tax and advisory teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Mentor and develop managers and assistant managers, fostering a high‑performing culture.
• Take ownership of project profitability and financial performance.

Required profile

• CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in UK tax advisory.
• Strong technical expertise in equity reward and venture capital tax.
• Proven leadership and people‑management experience.
• Excellent client‑facing and commercial skills.
