Senior Technical Sales Manager

About the role

As Senior Technical Sales Manager you will lead a high‑calibre engineering sales team delivering embedded computing solutions to blue‑chip clients across renewable energy, medical, transportation, aerospace and defence sectors. The role can be performed fully remote from anywhere in the UK or on a hybrid basis at our Berkshire headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales objectives for the embedded products business unit.
• Manage a team of seven Technical Sales Managers and Sales Engineers.
• Provide consultative technical solutions and position the company’s value proposition to key accounts.
• Negotiate contracts, prepare proposals and generate quotations.
• Maintain and grow relationships with customers, partners and suppliers.
• Drive annual sales, gross margin and MBO targets.
• Conduct regular business reviews and attend industry exhibitions.

Required profile

• Degree in an engineering discipline (electronics, computer, aerospace, telecom) or a commercial background.
• Proven experience in technical sales or business development within embedded computing.
• Track record of managing key accounts in medical, transportation, marine, agricultural technology, industrial, aerospace or defence markets.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to meet sales targets.
