Senior Test Centre Associate – Southwark

About the role

Reed in Partnership is looking for a Senior Test Centre Associate to lead the delivery of DVSA driving theory exams at the Southwark test centre. You will ensure each candidate’s test is conducted securely, fairly and in line with DVSA standards while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Invigilate theory and hazard‑perception exams, checking candidate IDs and booking them into the system.
• Manage site opening and closing procedures and oversee daily test‑centre operations.
• Coach and support junior Test Centre Associates during shifts.
• Review the test‑centre schedule, arrange non‑standard accommodations and coordinate cover for staff absences.
• Report and handle incidents according to DVSA incident‑management procedures.
• Provide administrative support to the Test Centre Manager as required.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and organisational abilities.
• Passion for delivering high‑quality customer service.
• Ability to follow strict procedural guidelines.
• Flexibility to work varied shift patterns, including mornings, afternoons, evenings and full‑day shifts.
