Senior to Staff Solutions Engineer (Pre‑Sales) – EU

About the role

Sanity.io is building an AI‑powered Content Operating System and needs senior technical talent to drive complex enterprise deals. As a Solutions Engineer you will own the full pre‑sales journey, from strategic engagement to architecture scoping, proof‑of‑concept and onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and lead complex demos for enterprise prospects and strategic partners.
• Own the technical narrative in C‑suite boardrooms and deep‑dive engineering sessions.
• Guide customers through RFPs, architecture reviews and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Build and maintain showcase implementations, enablement programs and best‑practice guides.
• Represent strategic customer requirements to product and engineering, influencing the roadmap.
• Mentor the broader SE team and raise the bar for technical excellence.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling enterprise solutions to Fortune 500 accounts and C‑level stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills to translate complex architecture for executives and engineers.
• Demonstrated discovery ability to uncover pain points and map them to solutions.
• Familiarity with CMS and content operations, with curiosity about AI integration.
• Solution‑oriented mindset: creative, structured, autonomous and able to lead without a playbook.
