Senior Travel Consultant

About the role

Join a trusted luxury boutique travel agency in the South‑East of Birmingham as a Senior Travel Consultant, creating dream itineraries for customers using a variety of tour operators.

Key responsibilities

• Work face‑to‑face and over the phone taking enquiries from customers.
• Quote holidays and convert enquiries into bookings.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product, brand, brochure and destination knowledge.
• Handle dynamic packaging and tailor‑made itineraries as well as standard package holidays.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve complaints calmly and diplomatically.
• Follow the rota of Mon‑Fri 9:00‑17:30 and Sat 9:00‑17:00.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months recent experience working in a travel agency.
• Solid travel agency experience, preferably with an independent or multiple‑agency environment.
• Right to work in the UK.
• More extensive experience considered for the top‑end salary.
