Senior Vehicle Technician

About the role

Our client is a well‑established family‑run garage in St. Albans looking for an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician. The role offers a stable, professional environment with competitive pay, bonus potential and a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out complex diagnostics and fault finding on a variety of vehicle makes.
• Perform timing belt replacements, clutch repairs, routine servicing and general maintenance.
• Assist with MOT testing when required and ensure all work meets customer satisfaction standards.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records and support workshop productivity and health & safety.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with strong diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to undertake complex repairs on multiple vehicle types.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to work flexible hours, including alternate Saturdays.
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to quality standards.
