Senior/Principal Consultant – Public Sector Procurement

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑growing procurement consultancy that works with some of the UK’s largest public sector organisations. The role is available at both Senior Consultant and Principal Consultant levels and will involve leading strategic procurement projects across a range of sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement and commercial projects for major public sector clients.
• Manage complex sourcing exercises, develop procurement strategies and conduct commercial negotiations.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and act as a strategic procurement advisor.
• Deliver measurable commercial outcomes on large‑scale transformation and infrastructure programmes.
• Support the growth of client accounts and contribute to the development of the procurement practice.

Required profile

• Proven procurement consulting experience within the public sector.
• Expertise in at least one of the following categories: Construction, Healthcare or Indirect Procurement.
• Strong knowledge of UK public procurement legislation and best practice.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing abilities.
• Commercially minded and proactive, with a desire to progress in a consultancy environment.
