Sensory Manager – Lead Sensory Team

About the role

KP Snacks is seeking a Sensory Manager to lead a specialist sensory team and provide expertise across Research & Development, Marketing, Operations and Commercial functions. You will ensure robust sensory testing supports innovation, product improvement, cost optimisation and quality decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sensory capability across KP Snacks and the wider Intersnack group.
• Design, deliver and analyse sensory studies using appropriate statistical techniques.
• Provide expert sensory insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Recruit, train, coach and manage sensory panelists and colleagues.
• Promote best practice, introduce new methodologies and deliver sensory training.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across R&D, Insights, Operations, Marketing and Commercial teams.

Required profile

• Strong sensory and FMCG experience, preferably in food.
• Proven experience leading sensory panels and delivering sensory assessments.
• Relevant scientific qualification (bachelor’s degree in a science discipline, ideally food science or statistics).
• People leadership and influencing skills with ability to manage priorities.
• Valid UK driving licence.
