SEO Copywriter Internship – Dorking

About the role
We are looking for a 3‑month SEO Copywriter Intern to join our e‑commerce team in Dorking. The role is office‑based and will support the PR & SEO Executive in creating SEO‑optimised content for our product website, blogs and metadata.
Key responsibilities
- Write new SEO‑focused category pages based on agency content plans.
- Produce blog articles using the skyscraper technique and optimise them for Google and AI.
- Create and edit meta titles, descriptions, image alt‑text and internal links.
- Assist with fixing technical SEO issues such as redirects, incorrect linking and missing metadata.
- Support the upcoming 2027 migration of the website to Shopify.
- Perform ad‑hoc website administration and reporting tasks.
Required profile
- Degree in a related field.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise and manage own workload.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within an e‑commerce team.
- Fast learner who can work independently.
- Preferable experience or knowledge of SEO or copywriting.
