SEO Manager – Full‑time (Manchester/Burscough)

About the role

We are looking for an SEO Manager to own and grow a portfolio of client SEO and AI Search accounts. You will design and execute integrated search strategies that combine traditional organic tactics with emerging AI‑driven search platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage SEO & AI Search campaigns that meet KPI targets and deliver measurable ROI.
• Lead AI Search optimisation, ensuring client visibility across ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini and similar services.
• Act as the primary client contact, presenting strategy, performance data and insights.
• Coordinate internal teams to deliver projects on time, on budget and on brief.
• Manage budgets and resources, keeping accounts profitable.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities and support new‑business pitches.
• Mentor junior Digital Marketing Executives and contribute to team development.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on SEO experience in an agency or in‑house setting.
• Proven track record of managing SEO accounts and delivering measurable results.
• Confident client‑facing communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Solid understanding of on‑page, off‑page, technical SEO and content strategy.
• Ability to integrate SEO with broader marketing mix (PPC, social, content).
