SEO Manager – Hybrid, Permanent – £45K-£55K

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SEO Manager to own and deliver the organic search strategy for a well‑established consumer brand. You will work within a fast‑paced marketing team where SEO drives commercial growth, collaborating across technical, content, digital PR and AI‑driven search initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the company’s SEO strategy and long‑term roadmap aligned with commercial objectives.
• Lead technical SEO improvements in partnership with development teams.
• Develop keyword strategy and plan organic content to boost visibility on product and category pages.
• Build domain authority through outreach, digital PR and link‑building campaigns.
• Manage relationships with external SEO agencies.
• Monitor performance, reporting on rankings, traffic and commercial impact.
• Explore emerging AI search opportunities and integrate AI tools into SEO workflows.
• Champion SEO best practices across the wider marketing team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an SEO Manager or senior SEO role.
• Strong technical SEO knowledge and ability to work closely with developers.
• Solid understanding of content strategy, search intent and on‑page optimisation.
• Commercial mindset with strong analytical skills.
• Experience managing agencies and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Interest in AI and its impact on search.
