SEO Manager – Remote (Ecommerce Retail)

About the role

We are partnering with a heritage home‑interiors retailer to find an experienced SEO Manager who will own the organic search strategy for its ecommerce platform. Working remotely, you will combine strategic planning with hands‑on execution to boost visibility, traffic and customer acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a long‑term organic search roadmap aligned with business growth targets.
• Identify and act on opportunities to increase organic visibility, website traffic and conversion.
• Use search insights and data to shape content planning and website improvements.
• Collaborate with technical and digital teams to enhance site performance, user experience and search accessibility.
• Lead and mentor a small team of SEO Executives and Content Writers, ensuring high‑quality, search‑optimised content.
• Monitor SEO performance, analyse trends and recommend optimisation actions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with algorithm changes and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading SEO strategy and content delivery in a commercial environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to link SEO results to business growth.
• Excellent analytical mindset with data‑driven decision making.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills across multiple departments.
