Service Advisor – Automotive After‑Sales (Carlisle)

About the role

Join a well‑established main dealer in Carlisle as a Service Advisor, acting as the primary liaison between customers and the workshop. You will ensure a smooth, high‑quality experience from the moment a service appointment is booked until the vehicle is handed back.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer bookings and service enquiries.
• Advise customers on maintenance and repair requirements.
• Upsell additional work where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records and handle confidential information.
• Work to deadlines in a busy after‑sales environment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Service Advisor in a main dealer environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with a proven track record.
• Drive, commitment and enthusiasm for the automotive sector.
• Ability to work as part of a team while taking ownership of customer relationships.
• Residence within a commutable distance of Carlisle.
