Service Advisor – Automotive Customer Service

About the role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy and professional dealership in Basingstoke. The role is customer‑facing, acting as the main point of contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring efficient service delivery and high satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers and manage vehicle check‑ins.
• Advise customers on service and repair requirements.
• Liaise with workshop technicians regarding vehicle progress.
• Keep customers updated throughout the service process.
• Upsell additional products and services where appropriate.
• Prepare job cards, invoices and related administration.
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain excellent CSI and customer satisfaction levels.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy dealership environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
