Service Advisor – Automotive Service Role

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Service Advisor to join a successful car dealership in Carlisle. You will be the first point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for service, ensuring a smooth and professional experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and manage the service reception desk.
• Book vehicle appointments and create job cards.
• Obtain authorisations for required work and keep customers informed.
• Liaise with workshop technicians to monitor progress.
• Arrange courtesy cars using the One Link system.
• Prepare cost estimates, invoice customers and handle hand‑overs.
• Identify upsell opportunities and promote additional services.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a main‑dealer service environment.
• Strong customer service and administrative abilities.
• Familiarity with Kerridge software; experience with RTC and One Link is a plus.
