Service Advisor – Customer-Focused Role in Crawley

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Service Advisor to join a busy dealership in Crawley. In this customer‑facing position you will be the first point of contact for vehicle owners, ensuring their service experience is smooth and enjoyable.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers at the service desk, build rapport and manage their expectations.
• Schedule servicing, maintenance and repair work while maximising workshop capacity.
• Identify and promote value‑adding services, parts and labour to increase revenue.
• Provide regular updates to customers and maintain clear communication throughout the service process.
• Arrange courtesy vehicles or alternative transport when required.
• Collaborate with the Workshop Controller and technicians to keep workflow on track.
• Explain completed work, pricing and recommendations clearly to customers.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Aftersales Advisor, Service Receptionist or Service Consultant in a main dealer or reputable independent garage.
• Strong customer focus with a friendly, confident communication style.
• Excellent organisational and administrative abilities, able to prioritise tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive attitude and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
