Service Advisor – Customer-Focused Role

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy dealership in Reading. The role is customer‑focused, offering a balanced Monday‑to‑Friday schedule and strong earning potential.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the service and repair process.
• Book vehicles for servicing, maintenance and repair work.
• Provide accurate updates on vehicle progress and manage customer expectations.
• Prepare job cards and ensure all required information is recorded accurately.
• Liaise closely with the workshop team to ensure efficient completion of work.
• Upsell additional products and services where appropriate.
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
• Complete all administration in line with company procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade (preferred).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
