Service Advisor

About the role

Join a thriving automotive dealership in North London as a Service Advisor. You will be the first point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for maintenance, repairs, or servicing, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers at the service desk, build rapport and manage their expectations.
• Schedule service appointments, coordinate with the workshop to maximise efficiency.
• Identify and recommend value‑adding services, parts and labour.
• Provide regular updates to customers throughout the service process.
• Arrange courtesy vehicles or alternative transport when required.
• Collaborate closely with the Workshop Controller and technicians to keep workflow on track.
• Explain completed work, pricing and recommendations clearly to customers.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor, Aftersales Advisor, Service Receptionist or Service Consultant in a main dealer or reputable independent garage.
• Strong communication skills, both face‑to‑face and over the phone.
• Organised, accurate and able to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a genuine desire to help people.

Required skills

• Solid administrative and IT proficiency for handling bookings and paperwork.
