About the role
We are looking for an experienced Service Charge Accountant to join a well‑established property management agency in Holloway, North London. The role involves managing service charge accounts for residential and commercial properties, ensuring accurate budgeting, invoicing and year‑end reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and manage annual service charge accounts and budgets.
- Process, reconcile and allocate service charge income and expenditure.
- Raise service charge demands, issue invoices and handle arrears.
- Complete bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Liaise with external auditors, property managers, leaseholders and suppliers.
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and queries.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in property accounting or service charge management.
- Highly organised, accurate and detail‑oriented with strong numerical skills.
- Good knowledge of leasehold legislation and property management processes.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
