Service Charge Analyst – Housing Finance

About the role

The Service Charge Analyst will ensure accurate service charge calculations across Accent's housing schemes. You will visit sites, verify data, and work closely with asset teams to maintain fairness for tenants and leaseholders. The role combines analytical work with on‑site inspections and national travel.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect properties and verify service charge data against tenancy and lease agreements.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, distinguishing errors from legitimate adjustments.
• Produce accurate service charge schedules and apportionments for each scheme.
• Collaborate with Asset teams and senior leadership to improve and future‑proof charge processes.
• Maintain high data integrity and support transparent communication with customers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in service charge management, finance, or property services within the housing sector.
• Strong analytical ability and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex residential leases and identify inconsistencies.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with finance systems.
• Familiarity with housing management software.
