Service Coordinator

About the role

The Service Coordinator will be the central point for delivering seamless service and operational support for sewage and surface‑water pumping equipment. Working closely with customers, engineers, suppliers and internal teams, the role ensures timely quotations, parts procurement and high‑quality customer interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate service and operational activities across customers, engineers, suppliers and internal departments.
• Prepare, issue and follow up accurate quotations to secure orders.
• Procure parts and equipment in line with confirmed quotations, ensuring engineers have required resources.
• Maintain customer data, service histories and financial records in the simPRO CRM system.
• Respond promptly to customer queries, upholding high service standards.
• Support daily operational processes to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
• Enter precise data and process financial information accurately.
• Assist management with performance‑improvement and business‑development initiatives.
• Undertake additional duties to support the wider team as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar service‑coordination or operational role.
• Ability to work independently while following defined processes.
• Strong organisational skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Resilience under deadlines and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Clear, professional communication and a proactive work ethic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the simPRO CRM system.
