Service Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Service Coordinator to join our Leighton Buzzard hub, supporting regional clients and a team of technicians. The role involves managing service calls, processing orders, planning labour, and maintaining accurate records. It is a full‑time, office‑based position with standard Monday‑Friday hours.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the team email inbox and log new service calls.
• Provide full customer liaison via the SAP Service Module.
• Plan daily allocations for service technicians to meet customer requirements.
• Update planning software and book site visits with site representatives.
• Maintain customer portals and keep customers informed of job status.
• Purchase, issue, and invoice parts.
• Collect technician timesheets, audit them, and produce productivity reports.
• Maintain the SAP database, including sites and equipment records.
• Liaise with clients, internal departments, and technicians as needed.
• Support subcontractor management by collating documents, issuing purchase orders, and handling payments.
• Perform general administrative duties to support the Service department.

Required profile

• Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
• Professional and courteous telephone manner.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent administrative and organisational abilities.
• Experience in order processing, customer service, or administration.
• Knowledge of SAP is advantageous but not essential (training provided).
