Service Delivery Manager – Payroll Services

About the role

As a Service Delivery Manager you will ensure the smooth running of client payroll and act as the primary liaison between the operational service team and the client. The role requires strong organisational and project‑management abilities, with a focus on resolving client queries quickly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of accounting and finance services to clients, maintaining high standards.
• Serve as the main point of contact for client queries, addressing issues promptly and professionally.
• Monitor service levels, implement improvements and drive client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service integration and delivery.
• Prepare and present service performance reports to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to optimise processes and increase efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Support team members in achieving targets and professional development goals.

Required profile

• Experience managing service delivery within payroll environments.
• Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
• Understanding of compliance requirements in the payroll/finance sector.
• Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Excellent communication, organisational and proactive problem‑solving abilities.

What we offer

• Salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,000 per year, dependent on experience.
