Service Design Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Design Workstream Lead to join a major transformation programme in London. The role is contract‑based for an initial six‑month period, operating on a hybrid model with occasional onsite presence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Service Design workstream across a large transformation programme, overseeing As‑Is, To‑Be and transition state design.
• Manage and develop a team of Service Designers and analysts, fostering high‑performance culture.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure design activities align with programme delivery and business outcomes.
• Drive cross‑workstream collaboration and integration of service design outputs.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in Service Design and process improvement within large‑scale transformation programmes.
• Proven ability to lead teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Active Security Clearance (SC) is essential.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end service design, process mapping and operating model design.

Required skills

• BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) experience.
