Service Desk Engineer – 12‑Month Contract (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Service Desk Engineer to join a high‑profile banking client on a 12‑month contract. The role provides first‑line support to internal employees via voice and chat, operating as part of a 24/7 global service desk.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to employee queries through phone and chat, handling multiple live chats simultaneously.
• Troubleshoot basic issues with Microsoft applications, Windows OS, and proprietary banking systems.
• Document tickets clearly for escalation to second‑line teams when required.
• Collaborate with regional and international partners to ensure high‑quality client care.
• Meet operational and quality metrics while maintaining accurate records in the ticketing system.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and clear written communication.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Hardware Support (Windows 10/11)
• Microsoft Office suite, Office 365, SharePoint, Skype, Microsoft Teams
• ServiceNow ticketing platform
• Familiarity with Copilot and other proprietary banking tools
