Service Engineer (Air Compressors)

About the role

We are seeking a Service Engineer with proven experience on air compressor systems to join a growing engineering team. You will work across a local patch covering London and Hertfordshire, providing high‑quality service to our customers while enjoying a stable Monday‑to‑Friday schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Service, install and maintain a range of air compressors on client sites.
• Cover a defined geographic patch across Hertfordshire and London, travelling with a company van.
• Work standard hours (8:00 am‑5:00 pm) with the opportunity to take up to 10 hours of overtime each week, paid at 1.5×.
• Document service reports and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Field Service Engineer background with hands‑on experience on air compressors.
• Ability to travel locally and return home each night.
• Willingness to undertake additional manufacturer training.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and a customer‑focused attitude.

• Salary £45,000‑£50,000 per year plus overtime (OTE up to £68,000).
