Service Engineer – Automatic Doors

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Service Engineer to join our team in Penwortham, focusing on the diagnosis, service and maintenance of automatic doors and entrance systems across Lancashire. You will work independently while being backed by an experienced support team, delivering high‑quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance on automatic door and entrance systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults efficiently, adhering to BS EN 16005 standards.
• Complete accurate service reports after each visit.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety on all site work.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with automatic doors and entrance systems.
• Strong fault‑finding and repair abilities.
• High attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Motivated, reliable team player.
