Service Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Service Engineer to join our busy, growing team in Bracknell. The role involves being the first point of contact for customers, providing first‑line technical assistance and coordinating issues through to resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and log incoming support requests via the ticketing system.
• Perform remote troubleshooting on Windows‑based equipment using remote connection tools.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and ensure timely updates to customers.
• Support internal teams with day‑to‑day coordination and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge.

Required profile

• Organised, reliable and confident when handling customer queries.
• Previous experience in a support desk, help‑desk or coordination role (non‑IT focus).
• Strong communication skills, proactive attitude and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise workloads, meet response‑time targets and work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Windows operating system.

• Service ticketing system usage.
