Service Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Service Engineer to join the production and engineering team of a leading UK manufacturer of touch-screen kiosks. You will be involved in the manufacture, installation and servicing of self-service electronic solutions for both private and public sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain kiosk hardware and ticketing equipment across a wide geographic area.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
• Provide on-site training and technical support to clients.
• Maintain accurate parts, service records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, support teams and management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Required profile

• Experience in a similar service engineering role is desirable.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Full UK driving licence.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering, Electronics or related field, or comparable experience.

• Full-time permanent role (40 hrs per week, Monday‑Friday, 07:00‑19:00) with overtime as required.
