Service Engineer – Solar Installation (West Yorkshire Patch)

About the role

We are looking for a Service Engineer with experience installing solar PV systems to join a rapidly growing renewable energy business in West Yorkshire. You will work across a local patch, travelling to customer sites and receiving a company vehicle, with clear opportunities for training and long‑term progression.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain solar PV systems across West Yorkshire.
• Carry out fault‑finding, diagnostics and technical troubleshooting on solar installations.
• Provide technical support to customers and installers on solar PV equipment.
• Complete electrical testing and ensure installations meet relevant standards.
• Travel to customer sites using a company vehicle and manage your own diary with no on‑call requirement.
• Receive full product training and develop knowledge across renewable energy technologies.

Required profile

• Experience as a Solar Installer, Solar PV Engineer, Service Engineer or similar.
• Strong technical knowledge of solar and electrical systems.
• 18th Edition qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
