Service Engineer – Wastewater & Pump Systems

About the role

Our client is expanding and seeks a hands‑on Service Engineer to service, repair and maintain sewage treatment plants, pumps and wastewater systems across domestic residential properties in the South West. The role is field‑based, offering variety each day and the chance to work directly with customers on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair sewage treatment plants, pumps and wastewater systems.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Replace outdated septic tank systems with modern treatment plant technology.
• Manage your own schedule across multiple sites and complete accurate job records via mobile applications.

Required profile

• Experience in wastewater, pumps, drainage, utilities or a similar engineering environment.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault‑finding abilities.
• Ability to work independently on‑site and solve problems.
• Excellent customer‑facing and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and a positive attitude.
