Service Engineer – Wastewater Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a Service Engineer to join a leading wastewater solutions provider. The role is field‑based, covering domestic, commercial and industrial sites across the local region. You will work independently, delivering high‑quality servicing, fault‑finding and maintenance for sewage treatment plants, pumps and wastewater systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform servicing, fault finding, repairs and planned maintenance on sewage treatment plants and wastewater systems.
• Maintain and service sewage pumps and pumping stations.
• Liaise directly with customers on‑site to address issues and provide technical support.
• Coordinate with the scheduling team via a mobile app to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Document work performed and report findings to the central team.

Required profile

• Experience in wastewater, sewage treatment, pump or related engineering sectors.
• Mechanical and/or electrical engineering qualifications.
• Strong fault‑finding abilities across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
