Service Management Consultant

About the role

Actica Consulting is a digital transformation consultancy serving the UK public sector. The Service Management Consultant will support large‑scale technology procurements, digital transformation programmes and service improvement initiatives, often in mission‑critical communications environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop service management strategies, operating models and governance arrangements for clients.
• Support technology procurements by creating documentation, evaluation criteria and analysing supplier proposals.
• Assist clients in implementing ITIL‑aligned service management frameworks and processes.
• Provide independent assurance that proposed solutions meet operational needs and commercial requirements.
• Collaborate with technical, operational, programme and commercial stakeholders to ensure sustainable delivery.

Required profile

• Experience in service management, digital transformation or delivery of complex technology services, preferably within public sector or mission‑critical environments.
• Strong analytical and structured thinking ability across business, technical and commercial domains.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for client‑facing work.
