Service Manager – Accommodation Services

About the role

The Service Manager will lead Jankyns Place Accommodation Service, ensuring high‑quality, user‑led delivery of mental health and social care support. You will embed service‑user leadership, manage risk and quality, and drive the service’s business plan objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Model collaborative relationships across departments and with external partners.
• Develop and execute an operational and service development work plan.
• Create and maintain a local stakeholder management plan, promoting the service within the community.
• Lead delivery of efficient, cost‑effective services that empower service users.
• Implement service‑user leadership strategies and promote peer‑support initiatives.
• Recruit, lead, and line‑manage staff and volunteers, overseeing performance and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and contribute to financial and operational performance targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing accommodation or similar health/social care services.
• Strong knowledge of mental health and social care frameworks.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and foster inclusive environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and community outreach skills.
• Experience in performance management and service development.
