Service Manager

About the role

The Service Manager will lead day‑to‑day operations within a not‑for‑profit healthcare organisation in Edinburgh. You will ensure that services are delivered efficiently, meet regulatory standards and support the mission of providing quality care.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor the delivery of healthcare services.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.
• Lead and develop a team of healthcare professionals.
• Track service performance, analyse data and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation and cost control.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Address service issues promptly and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing healthcare services in the not‑for‑profit sector.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience handling budgets and resource planning.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

What we offer

• Salary range £42,000 – £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
• Permanent contract within a mission‑driven organisation.
