Service Manager – Laboratory & Medical Equipment

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our field service team within the medical and laboratory equipment sector. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality service for washer disinfectors and autoclaves used in scientific environments, while supporting business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support a team of Field Service Engineers across the UK.
• Oversee service operations, scheduling and performance metrics.
• Provide technical guidance on washer disinfectors and autoclaves.
• Monitor KPIs, service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Support engineer development, training and recruitment.
• Collaborate with senior management to drive business growth.
• Maintain customer relationships and resolve escalated technical issues.

Required profile

• Previous experience managing or supervising Field Service Engineers.
• Strong knowledge of washer disinfectors and autoclaves (laboratory, medical or dental).
• Excellent technical and customer‑facing abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel UK‑wide from the Wokingham area.
