Service Manager – MOTS & SHAP Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our MOTS & SHAP services in Shepton Mallet. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, effective, and person‑centred support while driving continuous improvement across the service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and manage a team to deliver high‑quality support services.
• Monitor and improve service performance against contractual targets and quality standards.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Support, coach and develop staff to achieve their full potential.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with partner agencies and stakeholders.
• Promote person‑centred and trauma‑informed approaches across the service.
• Participate in the on‑call rota and respond to operational needs as required.

Required profile

• Experience managing teams within homelessness, housing, social care, or a related support service.
• Strong leadership, communication and people‑management abilities.
• Proven track record of managing service performance, budgets and meeting quality standards.
• Commitment to delivering person‑centred, trauma‑informed support.
• Ability to build effective relationships with partners and stakeholders.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Flexibility to participate in an on‑call rota.
