Service Manager – Plant Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager with a plant background to lead our engineering team. You will be the primary authority for the service department, overseeing day‑to‑day operations, client interactions and performance against key targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage 4 direct reports and a total of 27 service staff.
• Run the service department, including scheduling, handling complaints and liaising with clients from agriculture, plant and construction sectors.
• Plan maintenance activities and allocate workloads for engineers.
• Ensure the team meets company KPIs and service targets.
• Coordinate job planning and delivery to maintain smooth operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Service Manager, Service Supervisor, Workshop Foreman, Operations Manager or Engineering Manager.
• Strong background in plant, agricultural or construction equipment service.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a technical team.
• Track record of meeting performance metrics and delivering high‑quality service.
